Privacy Policy

HabitPet · Operated by Minseok Suh · Effective October 20, 2026

1. Information the app handles and why

HabitPet stores the following only in the app's storage on your device, solely to provide the app's features. None of it is sent to the operator's servers.

HabitsQuit/start type, habit name (e.g. drinking, late-night snacks, exercise, or a name you write), date added, date you stopped tracking. For drinking: abstain or moderate mode
Daily recordsKept / missed / not sure, an optional one-line note, when the day was last edited. In moderate mode: planned and actual drinks on social days
AnimalsSpecies you chose, the animal's name, growth record (how much it has grown from kept days)
Slot purchasesTransaction ID, product, slots received, refund status (used only to count slots)
SettingsReminder time, language, theme, guide articles read, scenes already seen, whether the intro was shown
Unreadable recordsIf stored data is corrupted, the original is kept on the device instead of being deleted

Records about drinking or eating may be health-related and sensitive. That is why the app never sends them off your device.

Devices that used an earlier version may hold records in an older format. On first launch the app reads and converts them, and leaves the old data in place so it can be recovered.

2. Retention and deletion

3. Sharing and processors

The operator does not share personal information with third parties or use processors, because the operator receives no personal information.

The following happen directly between you and the company named, under that company's policy:

4. Slot purchases

5. Reminders

6. Exporting and importing your records

7. Your rights

All records are on your device, so you can view, correct, delete, and export them yourself in the app at any time. Because the operator does not hold your records, the operator cannot access or delete them for you. For questions, use the contact below.

8. Security

9. Children

HabitPet is not directed at children under 14 (or the minimum age in your country), and does not ask for or collect age.

10. Health notice

This app is not treatment or medical advice. If you have been drinking heavily for a long time, stopping suddenly can be hard on your body; if you suspect dependence, talk to a medical professional before quitting. In an emergency, contact your local emergency number. The "Get help" screen lists Korean hotlines; its call buttons only open your phone app, and the app collects no call information.

11. Privacy officer and contact

12. Changes

If app changes require updating this policy, the updated text and effective date will be posted on this page at least 7 days in advance, or 30 days in advance for significant changes such as collecting new information.

This English version is provided for convenience. If it differs from the Korean version, the Korean version prevails.
